Duca di Salaparuta Winery: the new tasting programme for April – October 2019

The Duca di Salaparuta Wine Cellars in Casteldaccia (in the province of Palermo) presents its new programme of wine tasting events for the period from 1 April to 31 October 2019. Tourists who love wine and design can choose between different types of tours in the modern Casteldaccia Wine Cellars, from classic ones such as the STANDARD TASTING to the most innovative ones, all inspired by strong ties with the local area. There are three novelties for summer 2019: the “VIVA LE DONNE TASTING” and the two full TASTINGS including classic dishes of traditional Sicilian cuisine, “VIVA LA SICILIA” and “SAPORE DI MARE”. *THE TOURS
. STANDARD TASTING
Includes a guided tour of the Wine Cellars + a tasting of 4 WINES by Corvo, Duca di Salaparuta and Florio with small food pairings. Duration: 1 hour and a half
Times: Monday-Friday at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in English, 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in Italian. Saturday mornings: 10 a.m. in English and 11 a.m. in Italian.
Costs: Adults – €13 per person. Children (ages 6 to 17) – €5 per person

. “VIVA LE DONNE” TASTING
Includes a guided tour of the Wine Cellars + a tasting of 4 WINES dedicated to the women of the Duca di Salaparuta group with small local food pairings. The wines: Colomba Platino, Bianca di Valguarnera, Ala and Donna Franca. Duration: 1 hour and a half
Time and date to be defined. In Italian and English.
Costs: Adults – €20 per person. Children (ages 6 to 17) – €5 per person.

. EXCELLENCE TASTING
Includes a guided tour of the Wine Cellars + a tasting of 3 of the most outstanding WINES by Duca di Salaparuta and Florio, with gourmet accompaniments. The wines: Bianca di Valguarnera, Duca Enrico and Donna Franca. Duration: 1 hour and a half.

Time and date to be defined. In Italian and English.
Costs: Adults – €20 per person (minimum 6 participants). Children (ages 6 to 17) – €5 per person.

. “VIVA LA SICILIA” TASTING – Full tasting
Includes a guided tour of the Wine Cellars + a tasting of 5 of the most outstanding WINES by Corvo, Duca di Salaparuta and Florio paired with classic dishes of Sicilian cuisine. Duration: 2 hours.
Time and date to be defined. In Italian and English.
Costs: Adults – €25 per person. (minimum 6 participants). Children (ages 6 to 17) – €15 per person

. “SAPORE DI MARE” TASTING – Full tasting
Includes a guided tour of the Wine Cellars + a tasting of 5 WINES by Corvo, Duca di Salaparuta and Florio paired with classic dishes of Sicilian cuisine inspired by the Mediterranean Sea and region. Duration: 2 hours.
Time and date to be defined. In Italian and English.
Costs: Adults – €30 per person (minimum 6 participants).

. “CIAURU RI ASTRATTU” TASTING

Includes a guided tour of the Wine Cellars + a tasting of 5 WINES by Corvo, Duca di Salaparuta and Florio paired with classic dishes of Sicilian cuisine: protagonist will be the Sicilian tradition with tomato extract and ancient Sicilian grains.

Duration: 2 hours.
Time and date to be defined. In Italian and English.
Costs: Adults – €25 per person (minimum 6 participants).Children from 6 to 17 years – €15 per person
