Duca di Salaparuta & Florio Day in Rome

Duca di Salaparuta wines will be protagonists of an unmissable appointment in which AIS Rome will celebrate the wines of this Sicilian wine Company and in particular of one of his icon, Duca Enrico, the wine that has created the bases for Nero d’Avola success worldwide.  A vertical wine tasting of special vintage years (among which the one of 1985 that seldom gets uncorked, the outstanding vintage of 1997 and, in first preview, the 2010 vintage) thanks to which it will be possible to appreciate the multifaceted essence of this unique varietal, intimately related to the territory, and the depth of a revolutionary wine such as Duca Enrico is.

A seminar rich of passion for one of the most representative varietals of the “Made in Italy” and for one of the wines with an utmost Italian disposition, an event to which is going to follow an additional tasting experience dedicated to 30 of the most renowned wines of Duca di Salaparuta, Florio e Corvo.

An exclusive day, totally dedicated to Duca di Salaparuta, that will provide the visitor with a journey through the history of one of the remarkable Italian wine making companies and through the continuously unpredictable territories of one of the most beautiful Mediterranean islands.
